Of course, it’s going to happen whenever you’re searching for somewhere to stay, whether it’s for a weekend away or for contractor accommodation in Newcastle. These are the typical sites everyone goes to.
But the thing is…

But at the end of the day, it’s you I’m trying to save money for!

There it is, Luke Stays, banging on about those 2 words you’ve probably heard over and over again from us, but I bet you’re still going to Airbnb to book your next stay.
I think it’s time I explain a few things because it’s not your fault, and before I started in property, I was searching for the exact same things as you.
Let’s start off with this – Commissions Fee
Places like Airbnb and Booking.com add to the price of the stay in order to make money. They don’t own the hotels or serviced apartments as we do.
Also, if you’re trying to book last minute, it’s rare you’ll find the place you really want on one of these sites but did you know that we keep a certain number of rooms aside for direct bookings (that aren’t always accessible via Airbnb etc)?
This means if you book direct last minute and have a room preference, then we might still be able to accommodate your needs! All while a third-party booking platform doesn’t give you that option and leaves you feeling a bit downtrodden.

Not only that but god forbid something did go wrong with your stay (it shouldn’t with Luke Stays) however IF it did you’ll get better customer service if you book directly through us.
Our offices are open 24/7 and are ready to deal with a problem ASAP. When you book direct, there’s no middle-person ‘enabling’ all the conversations between you and your accommodation provider. That means the chances of you speaking to an actual human being and getting your urgent needs addressed are MILES EASIER.
